i was hoping these pictures would be self-explanatory, but i guess i'll tell you a little bit about the last few days.

we are hosting a children's festival this sunday (tomorrow), and i was feeling a little apathetic towards the whole thing because i didn't understand the purpose nor did i feel like it added anything to the project i was trying to do. but then after talkign to prashant, one of my indicorps fellow-friends, i was made aware that this was an opportunity to bring some of my adolescent girls together. so then in the last couple of days i ran around to a couple of different villages and tried rounding the girls up there. the picture of teh baby is taken in chinnur--if she hadn't have fallen asleep, i would have brought her back to cuddalore with me, she was so cute! anyway, i guess we will see if these girls actually show up tomorrow. i am going to go around the village-side in a van. i can just see it now, me instructing the driver where to go!

the other pciture is of teh cesari that me and the cook, saravanan anna, made for my bday. when i say that me adn the cook made it, he made it and told me to peel the onions for dinner!
